Abouth Almarium Hydrolates
Most fragrant waters, also known as hydrosols or hydrolates, are by-products of essential oil production, although some are produced for their own inherent healing properties. The steam distillation process uses water to extract the volatile essential oils. As the water heats up and passes as steam through the chamber holding the plant material, it creates transient bonds with the volatile oils and passes them through the cooling coils, where the water condenses and the two elements separate again. The oils form a layer on top of the collecting cylinder, while the water can be drained from below. However, some of the volatile parts remain bound to the distilled water, which takes on its aroma and therapeutic properties during the process.
The beneficial properties of medicinal herbs can be found in hydrolats in the same way as in essential oils, only these active ingredients are more concentrated in essential oils, so even people with sensitive skin can safely use the various flower waters. In its pure state, it is applied by spraying on the skin, for example to treat or tonify some kind of irritation or even as a perfume. They can also be used for aromatherapy purposes. The electromagnetic radiation of plant essences, molecules and atoms, which is related to the limbic part of the brain and the subconscious area. It awakens the deepest memories, through the amygdala, forgotten experiences, repressed traumas and can release blockages.
