Curry plant

The name "Helichrysum" comes from the Greek language, meaning "gold of the Sun", referring to the bright and colorful glow of its small button-like flowers, which can range from yellow to red. Due to its complex biochemistry, the large amount of special compounds of Helichrysum, the so-called "beta-diones" or "italidiones" (di-ketones), which rarely occur in nature, are believed to provide many special healing properties, both physically and mentally.
It is often used against depression, lethargy, nervous exhaustion and stressful diseases. In particular, the presence of di-ketones ensures the regenerating and skin rejuvenating properties of Helichrysum and enables the acceleration of wound healing. Thanks to the muscle relaxant, antispasmodic properties of neryl acetate in Helichrysum, the plant supports the treatment of sports injuries such as joint stiffness, neck pain or any painful muscle contraction. With the biochemical effect of another compound, curcumin, Helichrysum acts as an antiseptic and can reduce inflammation. On a psychological level, Helichrysum stimulates the right side of the brain, supports the development of intuition and creativity, and contributes to the relaxing and healing dynamics of deep-seated emotional stress such as anger and aggression.
